I’m a recent graduate of an Associate Degree in Screen and Media Production from Melbourne, Australia.
This website is a collection of my completed works, both from my course and outside of it.
Potentia (2024)
Created as my final production within my degree at RMIT, Potentia follows the misadventures of a trio of young adults who watch an advertisement for the mind altering "Potentia Pills", they decide that the best way to acquire the funds for these pricey pills is to commit a house break in. But what lays inside the house is more than they bargained for when they come face to face with the creator of the pills. This was definitely my most ambitious project yet, the decision to create the film using on first person perspective was something that excited me. Ultimately, I learnt a lot from this experience that will definitely help with future film creations.
I produced, wrote, directed and edited this film.
One More Win (2023)
Created as my first project during my Associate Degree in Screen and Media Production at RMIT, 'One More Win' aims to expose the issues surrounding gambling addiction, specifically within Australia's youth. This short documentary, presented in an interview-style format, delves deep into the complexities and challenges of this societal threat.
I produced, conducted the interview and also edited this documentary.
Golf Day (2024)
This was a passion project that I created outside of university, alongside two other students that I met through my degree. Golf Day is a mockumentary film about a trio of imperfect businessmen, who seek to merge their companies and decide to have this important meeting over a game of golf. We attempted to use both awkward pauses in dialogue along with written jokes to create a comedy piece that we ourselves would enjoy.
As a trio we produced, wrote, directed, edited and starred in this film.
Tassie ‘24 (2024)
I love to travel, and whilst planning a road trip across the middle and east side of Tasmania I decided to create a little video out of this passion. This was more of a fun time, I didn’t take any process of the creation of this video too seriously, and the fun nature of the final edit really shows that, and reflects the less serious nature of works that I would like to begin to make more of.
I shot and edited this short video.
Hungover Man (2024)
This short comedy film was another project that I have been a part of that has been created using 3D environments. This film was created using parts of an entire town that was generated in Unreal engine. I worked in a production group of 11, and together we created a comedy that blends modern times with western elements.
I helped write the film, whilst also doing audio and starring in it.
Online Predators Educational Video (2024)
As part of a project at RMIT, I collaborated with a production group of 12 to create an educational video exploring the positives and negatives of video games in modern society. The project was presented through 3D environments with each team member developing a unique segment on a specific aspect of video games.
For my contribution, I created an educational piece focusing on the dangers of online predators and showed ways parents and guardians can protect children in virtual spaces.
I took responsibility for all aspects of my segment, including research, scriptwriting, directing, presenting, and editing.
Tune Teaser Trivia (2023)
During my second semester at RMIT, I, along with a group of peers, created a TV show called Tune Teaser Trivia. I also created this specific segment of the show, in which contestants guess what film a specific audio clip is from. As a team we produced the show, but then directed our own specific segments.
I directed and produced the segment shown.
Film Lighting Assignment (2024)
For this assignment I had Ayaan (shown in video), tell me about the lighting and camera shots in his favourite genre of film, and how cinematographers from this genre use lighting to convey certain feelings or tones. I then attempted to replicate what he was describing, through the use of lighting and camera techniques.
I was conducting the interview and in charge of the lighting.
